Abstract
The G Interactive Foundation proposes the establishment of the Gravity Grant Program, designed to support developers and innovators creating impactful decentralized applications (dApps) and solutions that enhance the Gravity ecosystem. By offering financial support, ecosystem resources, and advisory services, this program will empower builders to create public goods that drive ecosystem growth and engagement, ensuring Gravity remains dynamic, adaptable, and community-focused.
Motivation
The Gravity Grant Program aims to:
- Encourage innovation by supporting developers in creating novel solutions that enhance the Gravity ecosystem.
- Foster ecosystem growth by driving the development of public goods that address key user needs.
- Strengthen community ties by fostering collaboration between builders, the G Foundation, and ecosystem participants.
- Reinforce Gravity’s position as a leader in decentralized technology through a vibrant network of dApps and infrastructure.
Grants will be allocated to projects that demonstrate high potential to address critical gaps, improve user experience, and drive adoption of the Gravity ecosystem.
Specification
Overview
The Gravity Grant Program will provide financial and ecosystem support to eligible projects through a streamlined application process. Support includes grants of up to $200,000 (USD equivalent) in G or USDT tokens, marketing assistance, strategic advisory, and networking opportunities.
Scope
The grant program will support projects under the following tracks:
- Ecosystem dApp Development: Innovative dApps that enhance user interaction and experience.
- Funding category: Community, Developer tooling, Defi/Stablecoin, Depin, Gaming, Infrastructure, NFT, Social, etc
- Infrastructure Enhancement: Tools and services, including wallets, analytics platforms, and stablecoin integrations.
- Bounty and Security: Projects that strengthen the security and resilience of the ecosystem.
Guidelines/Principles for application
Gravity is excited to welcome innovative builders interested in creating creative dApps with us.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the program, projects will have to meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Be based on/support Gravity chain exclusively or Gravity being the second primary network
- Have a fully functional Mainnet version that is publicly available for everyone to use
- If not live yet, have a detailed Go-To-Market (GTM) plan

- Ecosystem dApp
- Infrastructure enhancement
- Wallet
- Centralized exchange network support for Gravity Alpha Mainnet
- Data analytics / ranking platforms
- RPC, API, Indexer Providers
- Stablecoins
- Bounty + Security
In the application, the following will have to be included:
- Context behind how the project was built or how you are planning to grow your user base
- Problem the project is solving and your proposed solution
- Impact on Gravity ecosystem
Application Review (-4 weeks)
All applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis by the foundation team. We will reach out if our technical team would like to have a more in-depth discussion or conduct due diligence for the project.
Application results will be delivered via email and approved applicants will collaborate with the Gravity legal team to finalize the agreement in order to receive funding.
Grant Allocation
- Max amount: 200,000 (USD equivalent)
- Payment Currency (USD equivalent) in G or USDT tokens (depending on grant amount and token preference)
- Payout could be delivered by suggested milestones

Success for the Gravity Grant Program will be measured by:

- Tangible ecosystem improvements, such as enhanced infrastructure, tools, and user growth.
- Demonstrable ROI from supported projects in terms of community growth and ecosystem usage.
Internal Review Process
After submission, Gravity Foundation will conduct an initial round of scoring based on the following criteria:
- Impact (out of 10): Assessing the potential impact of the project on the ecosystem.
- Innovation (out of 10): Evaluating the novelty and creativity of the dApp.
- Execution Plan (out of 10): Determining whether the team has a clear plan for both short-term and long-term development.
- Exclusivity (out of 10): How many blockchains has the project deployed on, and is it exclusively operating on Gravity?

- Program Launch: Q4 2024
- Rolling Application Review: 4-week review period per submission
- Grants will be processed on a rolling basis
- Program will be concluded once funds have been fully distributed

- Total Budget Requested: $5,000,000 USD equivalent in G tokens
- Maximum Grant Amount: $200,000 per project
