It’s very good that you used the example of a Swiss knife in the context of Galxe, because that’s exactly what I meant, the browser extension as you say will add a “laser pointer to the knife”, but in reality you want to make another useless small knife, instead to integrate the laser pointer into the main knife.
in other words, you are proposing to carry around a laser pointer in one pocket, and then a Swiss Army knife in the other
and by the way, who didn’t know this, just turn on the email notification and Galxe will tell you whether you won the faffle or not, I constantly receive such notifications and you won’t miss anything
Thanks for engaging further and clarifying your point, truly appreciated! Your analogy helps to deepen the discussion, and it’s great to see such passionate viewpoints.
You’re spot on about the essence of choice in the Galxe community. This extension, much like adding another tool to our Swiss Army knife, is all about offering options without compromising the original’s functionality. It’s designed to complement, not to replace or detract from, the comprehensive experience the Galxe platform already provides.
The beauty of this approach is exactly as you’ve highlighted - choice. For those who prefer everything in one place, the Galxe site remains as integrated and functional as ever. The extension is simply an additional tool for those who find value in accessing certain functionalities directly from their browser, enhancing their experience without imposing on anyone’s preferred way of engaging with Galxe.
This extension is just one of many proposals, and its development and adoption are ultimately in the hands of the community. If the consensus is that it’s not the right tool for the job, then it’s back to the drawing board we go. That’s the beauty of a community-driven ecosystem - it evolves based on the collective input and desires of its members.
So, whether one sees this as adding another small knife or integrating a laser pointer, the choice to adopt and use it remains with each individual. No one is being forced to adopt the extension, and the core functionality of the Galxe site remains untouched and as robust as ever.
Thanks again for your insightful feedback. It’s discussions like these that help ensure the Galxe ecosystem continues to grow and evolve in ways that best serve its diverse community.
I the idea is great, but I don’t like using too much Google products. They tend to collect more info then they should bc of our consent to their terms and conditions. Still, it’s a a good idea.
You completely misinterpreted my words, the point is not in the choice of how you write, but in the complete uselessness of such a browser extension, in my opinion, by the way, for the development of which you are asking $5k.
Now you write that the point is to choose: whether to use email notifications (the default functionality of Galxe) based on raffle results or the browser extension you propose.
But, you didn’t mention a word about the current functionality of Galxe for raffles, and in the proposal you indicated your development as something necessary today* without mentioning that the functionality exists in a different form.
In this case, what kind of choice are we talking about if the proposal states that this is the only way out today?
Something clearly doesn’t add up here.

Motivation:
The Galxe ecosystem thrives due to active participation and participation in various campaigns and sweepstakes. However, tracking participation and wins can be difficult. Galxe Raffle Tracker aims to alleviate this problem by providing users with a web3 platform to easily track their activity, thereby improving the user experience, encouraging greater participation and helping to create a more cohesive community.

wow, I really appreciate your honesty because I fell the same way, but I’m very new to the space so I wasn’t sure how to approach the proposal without sounding hostile. However, you are brave, and I totally agree with your stand on this proposal. I’m glad to share the space with you. peace!
just to be clear, my goal, like yours, is to make Galxe more user-friendly, and to point out inaccuracies that I see, instead of just saying wow, cool, can’t wait, etc.
its perfect idea ı hope soo coming soon
bullish on this proposal
Easy way to track raffles
I understand the idea but I don’t understand why all this regression or vicious cycle of glaxes??? There was already a chrome extension two years ago that did this, it was called “MOSO”. It worked perfectly but Galxe deleted it. For what ? She didn’t ask anyone’s opinion. Another extension is coming for making purchases via glaxe and it’s called MOSO too (It’s a joke…). Now you have to pay again for a service to redo an extension that already existed (what is the meaning of all this?).
Adding another extension to Chrome I don’t see the point (and it will further increase the client’s data loading). There is already a claim system on the website (well, it disappeared a while ago, why?). The idea of galxe is to create, destroy, recreate all the time?
It’s so nice to see you become diverse and optimized. I’m rooting for you. A lot of progress is expected through various benefits and events. Thank you.
Yes yes yes
good ideia
Very interesting and good proposition, I like it
I think this is very good
This will be great. Because I can’t find time to follow the task results from doing the tasks. This causes me to miss some rewards or catch them by chance. As said, it would be perfect to have an interface where we can follow all this. In this way, I can spend more time on activities.
What would be the funding budget and hours spent to develop it?
omg…very like very good!!!
very very good idea I like it!!!
