Could you elaborate on your post? Accounts with 1000 OATs should be rewarded… just for having thoseOATs? Is there criteria around how old they are, if they are from Galaxe, if they are earned or bought on secondary market (assuming we can tell that)?
I like the idea my only hesistation is for someone with that many OATS they will continue to be enriched, while new members that might do more could be discouraged they won’t be rewarded because other folks have such a large head start. I kind of like the idea of a level playing field, but again I do see the value in the idea so I would like to hear from others.

I like the idea alot, I think it would be worth doing. My only comment, and this is more towards the Galaxe project in general (or perhaps this mechanism is controlled by 3rd parties) but I know it can be frustrating to complete all the criteria and and then be out for a day and come back to find you are eligible but missed the 1 or 2 day window to claim your OAT / prize.
I think to be fair and avoid frustration
- a claim period should be valid for some extended period, at least a week
- if a claim period and quest is over the user should no longer see the quest or it should be made more obvious its ended. I made the mistake early on of completing the steps and then coming back to see in small print that the quest closed days ago.

Regarding this proposal, it is indeed a good suggestion. But how to effectively prevent robot accounts is a problem. Galaxy passport KYC cannot stop scientists with a large number of accounts, which is very unfair to actively participating community members. . .
But I can’t think of any solution

Galxe always trying to against bots. Passport is only one of the tool. But I’m not sure it’s possible to exclude all bots ((

Yes, this is an unavoidable problem.
If robot accounts cannot be effectively avoided, then there will be a link3 problem. There will be a large number of robot accounts, and one person can control thousands of accounts, which obviously violates the purpose of this proposal. How to find an effective way to avoid robot accounts, I am thinking about this question
